5/8 ROD END - LEFT HAND - HEIM
From RuffStuff: "Of all the Heim Joints we sell it only made sense to make them the way we wanted them... This is a 5/8" shaft with a 5/8" bore (18TPI). Don't let the price confuse you, these are a very high quality Heat Treated 4130 Chromoly rod end, we can sell them for a tad more than a cheap mild steel heim because we sell so many and avoid the middleman.
The housing is made from 4130 Chromoly, the Ball is made from 52100 Bearing Steel. It has a hard chrome finish. The race is made from injection molded Teflon impregnated Nylon that we have had tremendous luck with. When completed the entire structure is Heat Treated.
Ultimate Radial Static Load - 18,000lbs. These are not tested to breaking point, they are tested to first deformation, that is a key point, deformation is not breaking. Several of the other companies making Rod Ends test to destruction. You will stop using the heim after it has bent so why even care at what point they fall into a pile of pieces on the ground, that number just doesn't make any sense to the actual user..."

Should any RUFFSTUFF Race or Off-Highway Use Parts shown in this catalog prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor, dealer or retailer, shall assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair of the defective part and of any damage that may have been caused by the defective part. The buyer assumes the entire risk as to the performance of such parts. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable federal, state, local or other law, RUFFSTUFF expressly disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, even if this catalog or any other materials mention a particular purpose for a RUFFSTUFF Race or Off-Highway Use Part.

Installation of RUFFSTUFF Race or Off-Highway Use Parts may adversely affect the warranty coverage on your vehicle. The addition of RUFFSTUFF Race or Off-Highway Use Parts on a vehicle is not covered by the vehicle warranty and any failure that they may cause is also not covered by the vehicle warranty.
RUFFSTUFF Race or Off-Highway Use Parts should not be installed on a vehicle intended for use on public roads. RUFFSTUFF Race or Off-Highway Use Parts should not be sold or financed in conjunction with the sale of a new vehicle.
RENO OFF-ROAD RETURN POLICY
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We accept returns on unused products, buyers have decided against them after receiving them, on a case-by-case basis.
Contact us if you ordered a product that you have since decided against, and we will do our very best to get it returned or exchanged.
Any unused merchandise in the original packaging may be returned within 10 days of the original purchase date or received date depending on the shipping timeline. There are no returns on electrical items, special orders such as build to order products. Discontinued items will be evaluated to determine if the product can be returned. No returns will be accepted of damaged (by user) or used items.
Return requests need to be submitted using the attached form, so we can issue an RMA. Please include the original packaging and a copy of your invoice or receipt.
