Description

Our RuffStuff brake conversion kit is is extermely popular due to the fact it is made by RuffStuff who makes top notch bomb proof products, and the application it is made for is one of the most common conversion set-up in the off-road enthusiast market. 

Fits 73-87 single rear wheel full float 14 bolt housings. Requires steel wheel minimum 15" with a maximum 4" back spacing and larger aluminum wheels

Our disc brake conversion kit is the best conversion to eliminate the drum brakes on a 14 Bolt Rear Axle. The 14 bolt axle is common in Chevy / GM fullsize trucks from 1972 until today in the 3/4 ton and 1 ton range. Changing from drum brakes to disc brakes is easy, and all the parts you need to complete the conversion are included in this kit to get rid of those heavy drums brakes. These will only work on a 73'-87' axle the newer axles are hit and miss.

  2 Hydraulic Hoses with 10mm Banjo Bolt Fittings

NOTE: If longer studs are needed, usually dually studs are long enough or Dormin #610-301. Double check stud diameter, studs should drop freely into the rotor. DO NOT press studs into the rotor. If your hub has too large of studs you will need to drill the rotors to accept them. Be sure to have minimum 5/8" lug nut thread engagement )

NOTE: This application will NOT FIT DUAL WHEELS

NOTE: Rotor installs onto the backside of the hub!

NOTE: Don't forget to re-bleed your brakes once you've installed your new conversion kit.

NOTE: A Proportioning Valve is recommended, this will allow you to fine tune your front/rear stopping power bias. Your front axle should always do about 70% of the work.

RETURN POLICY

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We accept returns on unused products, buyers have decided against after receiving, on a case by case basis. Contact us if you ordered a product that you have since decided against, and we will do our very best to get it returned, or exchanged.

Returns may be charged a 5% to 15% handling fee. Not all returns will be charged. This is determined on a case by case basis.

Any unused merchandise in the original packaging may be returned within 10 days of the original purchase date, or received date depending on the shipping timeline. There are no returns on electrical items, special orders such as build to order products. Discontinued items will be evaluated to determine if the product can be returned. No returns will be accepted of damaged (by user) or used items.

Return request need to be submitted using the attached form, so we can issue an RMA. Please include original packaging and a copy of your invoice or receipt.
