The factory Chevy/GMC front hub units are notorious for having issues, even when running stock size tires. We designed a kit using our 2.0 race hub to replace the factory hub unit and bolt right on without having to modify your brakes or spindles. The Camburg 2.0 race hub kit is the perfect upgrade to eliminate the stock wheel bearing issues these trucks have.

The factory Chevy/GMC 1500 2wd front hub units are notorious for having issues, even when running stock size tires. We designed this kit using our 2.0 race hub to replace the factory hub unit and bolt right on without having to modify your brake calipers or spindles. The Camburg 2.0 race hub kit is the perfect upgrade to eliminate the stock wheel bearing issues these trucks have.

Our 2.0 lightweight front hub design has a wide bearing spread for increased strength and longevity. We also use larger 7″ round material for the hub body for increased strength around the wheel stud area. We CNC machine the hubs in-house from 6061-T6 aluminum, then type II anodize them matte black. They are available with 14mm or larger 5/8″ wheel studs. Our custom 14mm wheel studs are also machined in-house from 4340 chromoly, then heated-treated, stress relieved and black-oxide coated.  These are considerably stronger than the stock studs and a great option for customer not looking to modify their existing wheels. The hub-centric center caps help get the wheels on when you’re out in the dirt. We supply them with high quality Timken bearings and races along with SKF seals. The 2″ 4140 heat-treated hollow spindle snouts round out the package with all the necessary hardware and bearing preload spacers.  The attention to detail with our hub kit is unmatched from other companies. We cut no corners or costs using the best materials, designs and processes.

This is a direct bolt on replacement and will work with the stock brake calipers and rotors.

We were the first to offer a race hub upgrade for these trucks and have tons being used on the street and on race trucks.

  • Shown with optional rotor hat for Wilwood rotors.
  • Wheels must have 4.25″ center-bore
  • Wheels must be machined to use larger 5/8″ wheel studs
  • No ABS sensor provision
  • OEM rotor must have center-bore machined to 4.25″ and chamfered on the backside of the ID.
  • Bearing preload spacer will need to be fit/machined during installation or  we can do it for +$200 labor.
  • Fits 2wd trucks only.
  • For off-road use.

  •  Bolt-on 2.0 snouts w/ M14  spindle hardware (hardware length spec’d for Camburg spindles)
  • 6 on 5.5 hubs with 5/8-18 or M14x1.5 wheel studs
  • Timken wheel bearings
  • Bearing preload spacers (need to be final machined during assembly or +$200 to have it pre-done by Camburg)
  • SKF hub seals
  • 2.0 hub wrench
  • Lock nuts, hardware, etc. 

Notes:

  • Wheels must have 4.25″ center-bore
  • Wheels must be machined to use larger 5/8″ wheel studs
  • OEM rotor must have center-bore machined to 4.25″ and chamfered on the backside of the ID.
  • Bearing preload spacers need to be final machined during assembly
  • Check M14 spindle snout hardware clearance when tightening. You may need to shorten them with stock or other companies spindles as the bolt can run into the backside of the hub.

Refund eligibility for returns is as follows:

Within 30 days of invoice date: Refund and/or store credit on parts only, less any restocking fees. After 30 days of invoice date: No returns or refunds after 30 days

Refunds will be given on parts only and excludes shipping, or any other charges. All parts must be returned in the original package, with all supplied parts, cannot be damaged or installed, and must be in original condition. All returned parts must be sent freight prepaid and fully insured and are subject to a re-boxing fee.

We recommend using UPS ground service with the insured value at the retail price of what’s being returned. Returned parts that are damaged during transit to us are non-returnable. Certain parts are not returnable, including but not limited to wheels and tires that have been mounted and/or installed, fiberglass parts, special and custom orders, electrical items, and closeouts.

Note that all returns are subject to a 10-25% restocking fee. Please include all original packaging, manuals, and ancillary materials in order to avoid being penalized.

For all returns please contact us via email or telephone and get a RMA Number authorizing your return. We will do our best to work with you and ensure your best needs are met.
